What we store about you

What we don't do

Sub-processors

kwaku's chat assistant routes your edit prompt and the relevant parts of your site files through a third-party language model provider so the model can respond. That provider's privacy policy applies to that traffic. Stripe processes payments. Hetzner hosts the server. That's the full list; we don't sub out anything else.

Your visitors

The sites you build on kwaku ship with no analytics, no third-party fonts (unless you ask), no tracking pixels. Your visitors' IPs hit our server log briefly for routing; we don't retain them past 7 days. If you add a Google font, a tracking script, or a chat widget, that's on you — kwaku doesn't add any by default.

Deleting your account

From your account page, click "delete account." We remove your sites, your chat history, your tenant container, and your user row. The pre-deletion backup is purged within 30 days. We don't retain anything we don't need to keep the platform running.

Subpoenas, law enforcement

If a lawful court order requires us to produce data, we comply, narrowly. We notify you first unless the order legally forbids it. We've never received one. If you're a journalist or activist with elevated risk, talk to us before deciding to host with kwaku.
