kwaku

Terms

The agreement between you and kwaku. Short, plain, written by a human.

What you're getting

A web app you can use to build and host a personal site, chatting with an AI assistant to edit content and design. Free to try; you pay a one-time $30 for an edit pack that buys 200 edits and unlocks custom-domain attachment.

What you're paying for

Refunds

Unused edits are refundable for 14 days from purchase, no questions. Email hello@kwaku.app. Past 14 days we'll consider it case by case but make no promise.

What we ask of you

Your content

You own your site's content. We have a license to host it for you while you're a user. You can export the static files at any time from the editor; the data is yours to take.

If we go away

kwaku is operated by one person on small infrastructure. If we decide to shut down, we'll give you at least 60 days' notice, refund unused edits, and provide a final export of your sites. We'd rather wind down honestly than disappear.

No warranty, limited liability

The service is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it reliable, but bugs and outages happen. We won't be liable for damages beyond the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months. If that floor is too low for your use case, this probably isn't the right platform.

Changes

If we materially change these terms, we'll email you. Continuing to use kwaku after the change counts as agreement. Minor wording updates and clarifications happen without notice.
